Founder
Alan started his career on the tools, completing an apprenticeship in plumbing and heating before opting for a warmer working day by joining the supply side of the industry.
Having operated trade counters and bathroom showrooms for most of his career, Alan was due to launch his own showroom/trade counter before deciding that his experience and expertise would be better placed supporting his peers with a new buying group.
“We saw the demand for something authentic and transparent, whilst putting the sector first. Our primary aim was to create a program that ensured the shared longevity of our members and suppliers, allowing everyone to succeed and grow together.
I am proud to say that we have achieved just that. It is very wholesome to be able to put something back into an industry that has given so much to myself and Ken.”

Founder
Ken also started his career as an apprentice qualifying initially as a gas engineer but later diversifying into full heating and bathroom installations. He finally took the plunge (ha!) on his first plumber’s merchants back in the eighties.
Initially, Ken operated a supply and install business before deciding to concentrate on a supply only business model. He has spent his whole career within the sector and has an unrivalled knowledge. He not only understands the needs of the individual businesses of our members, but also the needs of their customers, too.
Whilst owning his businesses Ken was a member of various buying groups so he has first hand experience of the advantages gained when being a member of the right buying group.
Ken is loved and revered in equal measure, He is universally recognised throughout the sector as an industry figurehead and is endorsed by many who have had the pleasure of working/trading with him.
